How To Find Your Dream

Are you worried about finding your dream?

How often have we had a dream that we longed to pursue,
but quit before getting started because your dream seemed way too
enormous a task to accomplish?

You know…

Like getting that college degree
Finding better living quarters for your family
Taking your family on a dream vacation
Choosing the right career
Or becoming an Entrepreneur.

Trying to find your dream can be a little overwhelming.

Once I found my dream then I found my why,
what’s your dream and your why?

I’m here to tell you to Keep It Simple. Take one step
at a time. Gather information, then when you’re ready, take
one more step farther. Take the pressure off. You don’t
have to know all the answers and solve every problem
before you’ve even begun to find your dream.

You are FREE to try something new and then change your
mind. You don’t need to make a lifetime commitment
before you know whether your goal is desirable.

Plans may involve many actions and there may be risks.
You DON’T need to tackle them all in one day. Take time
and move at YOUR own pace. Not mine nor anyone else’s
JUST your dream.

Focus on one thing at a time. If you Keep It Simple the
impossible may become possible and you will find your dream.

“All glory comes from daring to begin.”

P.S. With the help of a mentor and God you are capable of
many many things that you would never consider before.
You may even be capable of pursuing your heart’s desire
when you find your dream.

Work, Work, Work: Make Your Time Count

Time, time, time.

It seems there is never enough of this precious life support.

I received a lot of questions, indicating just how hard it is to balance our time requests these days.

I want to respond to a friend who said she’s “too busy to attend to personal needs vs. work, work, work”

and is looking for a way to take care of herself while meeting the requirements of her workplace.

Here are a couple of suggestions for anyone who is struggling to keep work and personal life in balance.

First, don’t judge yourself about where you’re spending your time.

Wherever you are, be there 100 percent.

If you’re working, try to notice why you said yes to the work and enjoy that part of it.

Enjoy the moment.

Second, use your calendar or daytimer as a tool to give you what you want.

Mark it with work and personal time, and attend to it.

For example, I’m working on another project.

It’s very easy for me to let that time slip into something else,

like answering email or returning calls or checking the newsfeed on Facebook.

Now don’t tell me you haven’t been there.

I’m getting better at blocking out the time in advance and sticking with what I said I was going to do with it.

Lastly, prioritize your values around time.

If personal time with family is the highest priority,

mark the personal family time into your calendar first because it’s important.

Then fill in the other stuff around it.

I hope some of this helps and please go ahead and subscribe right here for more awesome tips.

It’s up to you now.

Please write and let me know if any of the suggestions work for you.

And let me know your ideas, too, because I need them!

Oh and SHARE this post with your friends and family, LIKE it and also leave a COMMENT below.

MAKE this the best day of your life because it is.

5 Reasons Why You Need A Work-At-Home Daily Action Plan

You Need A Work-At-Home Daily Action Plan

For me, first and foremost… to work at home is the freedom it gives us.   IMAGINE…no time clock, no time sheets, and no one to account to for how you spend your time. After talking to a few of my friends who work at home, I discovered five reasons to create a daily action plan (DAP) because it does make working at home even better and it just makes sense, right?

You probably don’t know this about me… I care for my 99 year old mother FT. It’s no easy task let me tell ya. I’d sit here on Facebook talking to other caregivers thinking I was building relationships and interacting but in the long run I was wasting time just socializing and not doing business productive activities.

I couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t making money with my online business.  Have you had similar thoughts? Wondering what you’re doing wrong?

I now have a daily action plan and I have improved my productivity and reduced my stress immeasurably. If you don’t think you need a DAP for your home business then think again — and read on.

After a few unproductive days when my “To Do” list seemed to grow exponentially every time I looked at it I knew something had to change.

I was going through a tough time trying to care for mom and run my online business at the same time and I thought talking it out on Facebook with other caregivers would somehow make things better. It does, if you don’t let it consume your time like I did. My home business was experiencing growing pains and taking up more than the usual time, my grandchildren were reaching milestones that I was unaware of and life was just passing me by.   And I’m old enough to know there’s never a perfect time in life — you just live the one you’ve got.

I finally realized these are simply the challenges I’m dealing with this year. Next year they will be traded in for new fresh ones and this is the same for you too.

After studying my time and chatting with some other work-at-home friends, I discovered five reasons to embrace the DAP:

  1. It’s way too easy to waste time doing nonpriority tasks
  2. It’s way too easy to get sidetracked or distracted from your current task
  3. Unscheduled work time can often overlap into your free time until you don’t have any free time at all
  4. Your free time can overlap into your work time until you fall behind with important projects
  5. Putting together a daily action plan and concentrating your time and effort on highest priority projects means you will get more done.

I’m not the only work at home business person with a daily action plan. I recently talked to several big gurus and found this is what they do — and found it more freeing than restrictive. After all, you’re still the one who put this daily action plan together so you’re free to schedule yourself off for a 3-hour lunch, an afternoon, or a whole day whenever you choose.

If you find it difficult creating a daily action plan and setting priorities for the day and week then perhaps finding an accountability partner will help.

A daily action plan puts YOU in control.  Now it’s up to you.

Till next time make it an amazing day.
